|Baldwinsville NY is a quiet suburb west of Syracuse, New York located conveniently off the New York State Thruway at Exit 39. Baldwinsville was founded in 1794 on the banks of the beautiful Seneca River and is full of friendly shops, gyms, restaurants, churches, and parks all within a short walk.
During the 19th century, the village became an Erie Canal town featuring Lock 24. Every year boaters from around the country sail into the village as they explore the canal and dock at local marinas. Boat tours of the river are available. During the summer months, main attraction concerts, events, and fireworks are held at Paper Mill Island alongside the canal and the Seneca.
Baldwinsville is only 12 minutes from the Great New York State Fair.
